- CRESSMAN, Richard "Chezy" Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, March 9, 2018 at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener. Rick resided in New Hamburg and was born 59 years ago, a son of the late David B and Alice (Shantz) Cressman. Loving father of Kayla and Daniel Martin and Courtney and Robert Hough. Dearly missed by Kayla and Courtneys' mom Sally Cressman. Cherished brother to Judy Smallwood, Janet Jamison and Bill, Laurie McKay and Doug, Murray Cressman and Sherry, Sharon Boutell and Colin. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Rick was predeceased by a brother, Douglas in infancy and brother-in-law Adrian Smallwood. Chezy was an avid sports fan. You could often find him at the local pub, The Scran and Dram cheering on his favourite sports teams. He spent many years actively playing hockey and baseball and loved all sports. Family and friends will be received at Wilmot Centre Missionary Church, 2463 Bleams Road, Petersburg on Sunday, March 11, from 6-8 p.m. and again on Monday, March 12 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 13, at 11: 00 a.m. at Wilmot Centre Missionary Church where Pastor Wayne Domm will officiate.
