  William H. Robson Passes A former well-known Ayr resident, William Hamilton Robson, 62, died suddenly at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, on Friday. He had been in poor health for some time but entered hospital only the day prior to his demise. The late Mr. Robson was born near Ayr, a son of the late William T. and Mary Anne Robson. As a young man he learned the blacksmith trade from the late Charles Bawtinhimer here, and worked in Ayr until leaving for Toronto 28 years ago. He resided in that city until his demise. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Mary Hedley, Exeter; Mrs. Janet Element, London; Mrs. Hazel Eichler, New Hamburg, and Mrs. Julius Eichler (Verna) of Ayr, and a brother, Elmo F. Robson, Toronto. Private funeral service was conducted at Jerrette's Funeral Home, St. Clair Ave. on Monday by Rev. F. R. M. Anderson of Davenport Presbyterian Church. Burial was made in Prospect Cemetery, St. Clair Ave. Toronto. Mrs. Julius Eichler, Ayr, was in attendance at the service. The Ayr News Apr 23 1964 pg 12
