- Mrs. Agnes Fried, Roseville, July 13 - Mrs. Agnes Fried, 68, of Roseville, died last night at her home after a six month illness. A member of Roseville Evangelical United Brethren Church, she served as Sunday school teacher and church organist. Born in North Easthope, Feb 13 1880, she was the former Agnes Snyder, daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Benjamin Snyder. While a child, she moved to Roseville with her parents. After her husband, Lawrence Fried, died in 1920 she remained on the farm until last November when she moved to town. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Manson (Marion) Scott, of Galt; Mrs. Lorne (Beulah) Brighton and Mrs. Hubert (Dorothy) Greulich, both of New Dundee and three sons, John, Lorne, and Gordon all of Roseville. Also surviving are three brothers, Allen of Toronto; Owen of Meyronne, Sask.; Norman of Kitchener and one sister Mrs. O. G. Hallman of Kitchener. There are 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Two daughters, Elva and Grace and two sons, Harrison and Kenneth, predeceased her. The funeral service will be held at the residence, Roseville, at 2 p.m. Thursdday with a service following at 2: 30 p.m. at Roseville Evangelical United Brethern Church. Rev. C. R. Kauth will officiate. Burial will be in Roseville Cemetery. The body is resting at the Poth Funeral Home, New Dundee, until Wednesday at 1: 30 p. m.
