Of 153 Oakwood Ave., Cambridge, Saturday, June 28, 1986, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 62nd year, Mary Margaret Jackman. Beloved wife of Ernest Kells; dear mother of Ernest, John and Philip, all of Cambridge, Brian of Kitchener, Mrs. Kathleen Nielson of Stouffville. Also survived by nine grandchildren; two brothers, William of Kitchener, Ron of Alberta; two sisters, Vera (Mrs. Kevin Stone) of Bell Island, Nfld. and Mrs. Florence Gabrielle of St. Georges, Nfld. Mrs. Kells was born in Bell Island and came to Cambridge in 1945; a member of St. Clement's Church, the Catholic Women's League, Scout and Guide Mothers Association, Little League Baseball Executive of Preston. Active at Cambridge House of Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Veteran of the Second World War, serving with the Canadian Womens Army Corps; member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Preston Branch No. 126. Friends will be received at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Monday (today), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's Church, Cambridge, Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
