    • Hurlbut, Paul Everitt:

Passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Home on Wednesday, February 06, 2013 at the age of 78. Much loved husband of 60 years to Helen. Loving father of Louise and Dave Knechtel, Barb and Jim Bearinger and Scott Hurlbut. Cherished grandpa of Becky and Trevor Fay, Amy and Pete Shannon, Andrew Bearinger, Sarah Knechtel, Laura Knechtel and Matt Donau. He will be missed by his four great grandchildren, Jesse, Ruby, Olivia, and Sophia. Dear brother of Ivan and Carol Hurlbut. Loving uncle of Cathy and Rob, Ian and Mary and their families. He was a longtime dedicated employee of J.M. Schneider where he drove truck, then was elected as the president of the S.E.A. and became distribution manager prior to retirement. Paul had a lifelong involvement with Purebred Angus. He was an avid Kitchener Ranger Fan for the past 50 years and a faithful member of St. James Rosemount United Church.

The Hurlbut family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The memorial service for Paul will be held at St. James Rosemount United Church, (171 Sherwood Ave. Kitchener) on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 11am. Rev. Christina Boyd officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place in the Ayr Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff at Sunnyside Home for their compassionate care.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. James Rosemount United Church or Sunnyside Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
