    • SOWPEL, Andrew - Passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, September 27, 2000, at the age of 93.

      Andy will be sadly missed but will remain in the heart of Ruby Sowpel (Graff), his beloved wife of 48 years. He was the loving father of Kathy and her husband Jim Inch, Nadine and her husband Bob Parsons. He was the best grandfather in the world and will be missed by all seven of his grandchildren, Andrew, Chris, Nick and Alex Inch, Charlie, Philip and Emily Parsons. He will also be missed by one niece, Nina Loveless of Boston, Mass.

      Andrew was born in Russia and immigrated to Canada in 1928. He was a restaurant proprietor for years; he also worked at The Walper Hotel until his retirement. He was a member of St. Anne's RC Church.

      The family will receive friends and relatives at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2000 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's RC Church, with Rev. Michael King officiating. Interment Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.

      As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Community Care Access Centre or your favourite charity.
