Mom was born Sept. 19, 1932 in Black River Bridge, New Brunswick, the eighth child of James T. D. and M. Ruth Watling. She married Calvin Clay Williston in 1949 and, together, they raised 9 children, first in New Brunswick and then later in New Hamburg, Ontario. Mom was the bedrock of the Williston family, and raised her children with faith, and to respect, love and enjoy the company of family and friends.
Mom was a member of St. George's Anglican Church in New Hamburg for 52 years and participated in the Haysville Women's Institute for many years. Mom loved watching her family grow and return to her side whenever possible.
