      "Alick [Kay] is still Photographing yet, but I think he dont get a great deal to do. some of our ones got their pictures taken and they dont like them, but some of them are not so very bad afer all.

      "Mrs. Kay has been very poorly this while back She is failing fast. Alex has quit the photographing business he is going to furm as soon as Henry Whites time is out but that will not be till next Spring his mother says she will not be any use to him for she is worn out "
      Henry White had rented the Kay farm at Con. Vll Lot 33 North Dumfries while Alex tried his hand as a photographer.

      "Alick Kay1' is agent for knitting Machines he knits for people too he was talking of starting,to take photographs this winter if so we will try and get Bessies" taken it is not an easy matter for her to sit still so long as that she is a perfect little flying squirrel. how are your house flowers getting along ours are not near so nice as they were in summer but we cannot expect them to grow at all times"
