  WIDEMAN, Mary (Mrs. Clayton) - Peacefully, on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at St. Mary's General Hospital, Mary (Martin) Wideman, in her 85th year, of Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Clayton Wideman (2003). Dear mother of Arlene Lambert and her friend Barry Sloper and Brenda and John Janeczko, all of Elmira. Also lovingly remembered by her grandsons, Jeff Lambert, Jeremy Lambert and his friend Helen, all of Elmira, John and Pam Janeczko of RR 2, Alma and Joseph Janeczko and his friend Theresa of Elmira. Dear sister of Cleason and Frieda Martin of Sudbury, Edna and Mervin Bauman of RR 2, Drayton, Manny Martin of Elmira, Eleanor and Abner Metzger of Floradale and Leroy and Donna Martin of Alberta. Predeceased by her parents, Levi and Susannah (Hoffman) Martin, her son John (January 27, 2004), her two sisters, Melinda Martin and Nancy Bauman. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, Sunday, May 9, 2004, from 12-4 and 6-9 p.m. At 9 a.m. on Monday, transfer will be made to Floradale Mennonite Church for funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastors Fred Redekop, Dale Bauman and Darrell Jantzi officiating, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. In her memory, donations to the Floradale Mennonite Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. The Record Newspaper 6 May 2004
