Notes - EBY, Grant Eugene - Just before his 93rd birthday, went to be with his Lord, on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge. Beloved husband and best friend of Jeanne (nee Rebstock) for more than 66 years. He will be sadly missed and forever loved by his children, Gale and her husband Murray Smith, Lynda and her husband Walter Kelly, Chris and his wife Sue, and Steve(deceased 2005) and his wife Janet, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his parents, Edgar and Beatrice Eby and his brothers, Pearson and Perry. Grant farmed in Bloomingdale from 1944 until his retirement in 1978. He also volunteered his time with Mission Work. Grant's family will receive relatives and friends at Fairview Mennonite Home, 515 Langs Dr., Cambridge on Friday from 3-4 p.m. and at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10-10: 45 a.m. The funeral service for Grant will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. PLEASE NO FRESH FLOWERS. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Fairview Mennonite Home would be appreciated by the family. Visit www.henrywalser.com for Grant's memorial.
