  EBY, Ellen - Passed away at Nithview Home, New Hamburg, on Wed., Feb. 4, 2004, at the age of 96yrs. Ellen was born in Wilmot Tp., d/o the late Daniel Eby and the former Angeline Baer. Ellen was a charter member of the New Hamburg Conservative Mennonite Church and was a former member of the Mannheim Mennonite Church. For many years she taught Bible School and Sunday School in both congregations. She enjoyed raising canaries and gardening as her hobbies. Ellen was predeceased by her brothers, Edward in infancy, Erwin in childhood, Edwin and Elsie Eby and Gordon and Pearl Eby. She will ever be remembered by her foster daughter, Shirley Carmen of Calgary, Alta., and by nieces and nephews Betty Lou and Maurice Robbins of London, James Eby of Toronto, Douglas and Barbara Eby, Glenn and Joanne Eby, all of Ottawa, Edward Eby of Brampton, David Eby of New Hamburg, Ken and Helen Eby of Baden, Sandy and Mark Brubacher of Elmira and Audrey Eby of Kitchener.
