  Passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Robert (2005) loving mother of Marilyn (Bob) Young, dearest grandmother of Krista (Gord) Skanes of Cambridge and Tanya (Jeff) Lassaline of Alvinston. Dear great-grandmother of Kaitlyn and Jacob Skanes and Lauren and Logan Lassaline. She will be missed by her sister Florence Fillion, sister-in-law Verna Strong, and brothers-in-law Errol Roberts and Charles Stanley. Edith is predeceased by her siblings Max and Frank Strong, Irene Stanley and Mary Keffer-Roberts. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and extended family. Edith's family will welcome friends to the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held at Saint Luke's United Church, 1620 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge on Tuesday afternoon at 1 pm with interment following at New Hope Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Saint Luke's United Church.
