- Walz, Mrs. Gladys (Carl) - At St. Mary's Hospital, on Thursday, Oct. 18, 1990, following a lengthy illness, Gladys Walz (nee Wilhelm), age 82 years, of 100 Samuel St., Kitchener. Mrs. Walz was a very dedicated member of Benton Street Baptist Church. Beloved wife of Carl Walz; dear mother of James and his wife Lorraine of Mississauga, David and his wife Jean of Toronto, Murray and his wife Linda of Waterloo, Mary and Jane and her husband Paul Barber of Oakville, Norma Jean and her husband David Morrison of Owen Sound. Lovingly remembered by her 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Sister of Rev. Clayton Wilhelm of Waterloo, Viola Wilhelm of Kitchener and Alice Spreeman of Penticton, B.C. Predeceased by her parents and one brother, Clarence. Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 pm, Saturday, continuing until noon Monday, when removal will be made to Benton Street Baptist Church for funeral and committal service at 2 pm, Rev. James Reese officiating. Interment Memory Gardens.
