      On Tuesday, July 30, 1985, at Victoria Hospital, London, Ont., Nelson Seyler, of RR 1, New Hamburg, aged 79 years. He was born in Wilmot township, a son of the late David Seyler and the former Leah Wettlaufer. He was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg, where he had been on the church council and taught Sunday school for many years. He also had been a public school trustee. Beloved husband of the former Lillian Becker, whom he married May 17, 1930. Lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Doris (Mrs. Corson Schwartzentruber) of New Hamburg, Marie (Mrs. Mahlon Shantz) of Kitchener and his two sons, Harold and his wife Isabel of RR 1, New Hamburg and David and his wife Susan of New Hamburg; dear brother of Clayton of New Hamburg and Mrs. Ella Doering of RR 2, Baden. Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one sister, Mrs. Viola Nixdorf in 1964. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, after 8: 00 today, until Friday, Aug. 2, at noon, when transfer will be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg, for the service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Doug Kranz dfficiating, Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
