  HAWKESVILLE - Mrs. Nancy Martin, 78, widow of Bennevel Martin, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her son, Mannasse Martin. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel B. Hoffman, she was born in Woolwich Township, Jan. 18, 1875. Her husband and one infant daughter predeceased her. Surviving are five sons, Absalom, Linwood; Mathias, Elias, Bennevel and Mannasse, all of Hawkesville, 10 grandchildren; one brother Menno B. Hoffman of RR 1, St. Jacobs, and one sister, Mrs. Noah Wideman of RR 1 Waterloo. The funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. EST, from her Hawkesville residence to Conestogo Mennonite Meeting House, near Three Bridges, for service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. The body is at the home of her son, Mannasse, in Hawkesville Kitchener-Waterloo Record 9 May 1953
