- Prescott Varun went from Dracutt to Canada, and shortly after the death of his fiist wife removed to Geneseo, N. Y., where he met Elizaheth Clements, whom he married in 1820. She had settled there with her parents, when it was a wilderness, having heen born at Cape Ann, Mass. Some years after marriage, in 1842, she and her hnsband made their home in Metamora, La Peer Co., Mich., where she died on the farm she had occupied for 25 years.

Prescott and his brother resided on Germany Company Tract 17 in the late 1820's where Phineas operated an Inn and Blacksmith shop at the corner of Queen St. and King St. in Kitchener, Ontario.
