SNIDER, Mr. Clare Laverne (Past President of Chemung Lake Lions, Retired after 32 years with the Oshawa Group, Former Manager of Food City (Lansdowne) At Peterborough Regional Health Centre Palliative Care on Sunday, January 23, 2005 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Betty. Loving father of Mary and John Dingman of Peterborough, Jim and Kay (Hutcheon) of Buckhorn and Wayne and Diane (Venne) of Wallaceburg. Dear brother of Mildred Asmussen of Kitchener, Melva Cavanaugh of Kitchener, Arlene Wright of Blair, Ruth Snider of Cambridge and Norman (Elaine) of Wellesley. Cherished grandfather of Michael and Heather Dingman of Buckhorn, Steven and Heather (Caron) of Calgary and Tanya Hutcheon of Havelock. Great grandfather of Alyshia and Brodie and Christian. Clare will be sadly missed by his many neices and nephews. Friends will be received at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 600 Monaghan Rd., S., Peterborough on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at Immanuel Alliance Church (1600 Sherbrook Street Peterborough) at 2 p.m. Pastor Dwayne Campbell Officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations in memory of Clare may be made to Immanuel Alliance Church or the PRHC Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
