- Frederick H. Erb, "the eldest son of second wife, was born at Bowmansville, New York, October 24th, 1849. On October 16th, 1880, he was married at Flint, Michigan, to Eliza, daughter of Thomas and Abagail Moss. She was born in the county of Perth, Ontario, November 23rd, 1851. At present they reside at Montrose, Genesee County, Michigan. They have two children, namely: Frederick Charles, born at Marlette, Michigan, August 8th, 1881, and Rena Belle, born at West Bay City, Michigan, November 9th, 1884."
