  HAMMER, Christina-Peacefully, on Friday, March 19, 1999, at Pinehaven Nursing and Retirement Home, in Waterloo. She was born 89 years ago in Wilmot township. She was predeceased by her husband, Adam Hammer and by her parents, Daniel Wagner and the former Margaret Wiegan. She is survived by two sons, Verne and his wife Joyce of RR 2, Havelock, Ont., Bill and his wife Jane of Cambridge, Ont.; one daughter Doreen and her husband Meril Croft of Kitchener; one brother, Herbert and his wife Betty Wagner of Waterloo; three sisters, (Edna) Mrs. Ben Gruby of Wiarton, Freida Schaefer of Kitchener, (Dora) Mrs. Roy Colbittz of Waterloo; seven grandchildren, Cheryl an Jeff, David Cathy, Jennifer, Chris and Mike; three great-grandchildren, Tim, Greg and Lauren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Alfred and Herman; four sisters, Lilie, Louise, Elvina and Alice. She was a member of the Mary Martha Society and the Wellesley Jolly Oldsters. Visitation will be at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. On Monday morning removal will be made to 1st St. Pauls Lutheran Church for the funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Rev. George Reinhart will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
