  Melvin Cressman SOUTHWEST WILMOT - Melvin Cressman, 57, of Sault Ste Marie, died suddenly at his home Friday. He had suffered a heart attack two week ago. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs., Noah Cressman. He was born near New Hamburg. He lived for many years at Thorold, more recently to Sault Ste Marie. He was a member of Thorold United Church. Surviving are his wife the former Edith Shantz, whom he married in 1923: four sons; Gerald and Elwood of St. Catharines, Herbert of Thorold and Robert of Sydney, N S. Two daughters, Doris of St. Catharines and Rita of West Germany: two brothers, Zenas and Elam of RR1 New Hamburg. There also are 12 grandchildren. The funeral will he conducted Monday afternoon at a Thorold Funeral Home. Burial will be in ThoroId. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 28 Jun 1958 pg 5
