  Elizabeth Strickler, "was born April 29th, 1854, and died March 7th, 1884. She was married to Enos Shantz but left no family." Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ________________ SHANTZ.-On the 7 th of march, in Waterloo county, Ontario, Sister Elizabeth, wife of Enos Schantz, aged 29 years and 10 months. She leaves a deeply afflicted husband and parents, to mourn her early death. She was buried on the 9 th of March at Christian Eby's meeting-house.
