- ROES, Mrs. David (Katie) - Of Millhaven Home, Milverton, and formerly of Brunner, passed away Wednesday, December 7, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener.
She was born in Minnesota 75 years ago, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mattie Gerber. She was a member of Mornington Amish-Mennonite Church, Poole West.
Dear mother of Elmer of Millbank, Clayton of Chatham, Raymond of Brunner and Mrs. Walter (Clara) Zehr of Route 7, Woodstock; dear sister of Emanuel of Millbank, Aaron of Myo, Mich., Elmer of Fairview, Mich., and Mrs. Chris. (Mattie) Erb of Kitchener; also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, David N. Roes, December 21, 1971; also by six brothers and five sisters.
Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley. The family will receive friends this evening from 7-9 and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. Family service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, December 9, at 1 p.m., followed by funeral service at Mornington Amish- Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. Bishop Aaron Jantzi will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
