- SADDLER, Robert\emdash Peacefully at the Bruce Peninsula Health Services, Wiarton on Sunday April 14, 1996. Robert Saddler, age 71 yrs. of R.R. #4 Wiarton, formerly of the Kitchener area. Robert served in the Royal Canadian Navy during W.W.II. He was employed with St. Marys Wood Specialties in Hespeler, then to the Waterloo Township Police and the Waterloo Regional Police (for 33 years), retiring in 1985. Beloved husband of Beatrice (nee Rieck) Saddler, dear father of Doug and his wife Karen of Cambridge, Wendy and her husband Mike Storer of Kitchener, Wayne and his wife Alison of New Hamburg. Loving grandfather of Mandy, Kevin, Amy and Sarah, brother of Walter of Belleville and Harold of Shallow Lake. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Dorothy Saddler. Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St., West, Kitchener on Tuesday April 16, 1996 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. The Parish Prayers will be recited at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held in St. Mary's R.C. Church, 16 Cooper St., Cambridge (H) on Wednesday April 17th at 11 a.m., Fr. Gerald Mulhall officiating. Interment New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
