• Notes

  The funeral of the late Mrs. Albert Stickney, nee Lydia Permillia Matthews, was held on Saturday afternoon from her late residence on Church Street to the United Church for service. Rev. Fosbuary officiated. The deceased, who was highly esteemed by all who knew her, will be greatly missed in this community. She will be especially missed by the congregation of the United Church, of which she was a faithful member. She was also a member of the Women's Missionary Society of that Church. The pallbearers were six nephews of the deceased woman, namely: Carl Matthews of Elmira, Wellington Matthews of Elmira, Norman Matthews of Glenalian, Earl Matthews of Wallenstein, Eslie Matthews of Kitchener, and Lloyd Mulloy of Toronto, Interment was made in the Elmira Union Cemetery.
