  COFFEN, Maxwell Gordon "Mac" Peacefully, at Conestogo Lodge, on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1993, age 91 years. Mac was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 50, Kitchener. He was employed at Indiana Steel for many years and was a member of Glen Acres Baptist Church. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Linda (Gary), Ron (Janet), Maxine (Larry), Tim (Wendy), Kevin, Mary, Gail and Doug. Survived by many great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nephews, son-in-law, Les Vollmer and his daughters-in-law, Laura and Joyce Benedict. Also survived by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews from within the Uttley family. Predeceased by his parents; - his wife Hazel Coffen: his sons, Ron and Gerry: his daughter, Betty; one grandson, John and one great-granddaughter Tara, Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, this evening (Thursday) from. 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Rev. Tom Caldwell officiating. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 910 King St. W., Kitchener, N2G 1G4 and the Ronald MacDonald House, 1510 Main St. W., Hamilton LOS 1E3. as expressions of sympathy.
