  HABSCHIED, Josef "Joe" - On Wednesday, Nov. 27, 1996, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Joe Habschied, in his 75th year, of Elmira. Beloved husband of Katharina "Katie" Habschied. Loving father of Anni and Ronald Gowing of Elmira, Katie and Wayne Gowing of Gibbons, Alta., Joe of Elmira, Gary ad Rose of Elmira. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Duane, Gail, Ryan, Tara and Michael. Survived by two sisters and a number of nieces and nephews, all of Germany. Predeceased by one brother, one sister and one granddaughter. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Saturday, transfer will be made to the New Apostolic Church, Arthur Street South, Elmira for funeral service at 2:30 p.m., followed by cremation.
