NICHOLSON, Eleanor Jean (nee Hamilton) - Peacefully with her family by her side, on Saturday, May 27, 2006, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in her 62nd year. Beloved wife and best friend of Ron Nicholson and loving mother of Michael and Ofelia Nicholson, all of Elmira. Devoted grandma of Jessica and Miguelito. Daughter of the late Bert and Rene Hamilton of Fergus. Treasured sister of Sharon and Brian Patterson of Tottenham, Sheila and Jim Dixon of Fergus, Evelyn and Al Howse of Fergus and the late Wayne Hamilton. Will be lovingly remembered by Bill and Evelyn Nicholson of Lloydminster, Alberta and Marlene Nicholson of Elmira. Eleanor will be dearly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many car club friends. Special friend of Gladys Marti. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Monday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, May 30 at 11 a.m. followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery. In her memory, donations to Breast Cancer Research would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
