    • Edwin Kropf Dies in Earl Grey, Sask.

      The death occurred at his home in Earl Grey, Sask., on Monday, of Mr. Edwin Kropf, in his 70th year. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Kropf and was born at Pine Hill, Wilmot Township. In 1906 he married Miss Carrie Morrison formerly of Baden and they went to Saskatchewan where they farmed for many years near Earl Grey.
      His wife predeceased him about 20 years ago. Surviving are three sons, one daughter and one granddaughter, besides two brothers, Herbert, New Hamburg, Jacob, Stratford, and one sister, Mrs. H. R. (Lavina) Gerrard, Toronto. A brother, Norman, predeceased him 13 years ago.
      The funeral was held at Earl Grey on Thursday.
