Beloved mother of Robert of Gatineau, Quebec, Douglas and his wife Diane of Florida, Stewart and his wife Sue Ann of Oakville; loving wife of Haughton Laird and sister-in-law, Winnifred Laird of Parry Sound. Also survived by her niece, Jean Laird; grandnephews, Don and his wife Dana and sons and Byrne Clement and grandchildren, Tracey, Sean, Holly, Heather, Jamie and Adam. Born in Elmira, Christmas Day 1914, a member of the Confederation Club, Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery and the Multi-cultural Association. Sister of Janet and husband Bud Clement and daughter of George Lichty Ziegler and Viola Dunke Ziegler. Visiting in the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church Street, Kitchener, from 7-9 pm, Wednesday, July 26. The funeral service will be conducted at the Church of St. John and Evangelist, 23 Water Street North, Kitchener, on Thursday, July 27, 1989, at 2 pm, Rev. Robert L. Schroeder officiating.
