- CLUTHE, George J. - Suddenly, at his residence, on Friday, May 2, 1997, age 87 years and was born in Kitchener, Ont. Mr. Cluthé founded, owned and operated The Geo. Cluthé Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Waterloo. He established the George Cluthé Foundation within the Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation. Loving father of Ronald and his wife Marlene, William and his wife Ruth, both of Wellesley, Gerald and his wife Patricia of Wiarton and Richard and his wife Beverley of Elmira. Beloved grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by by seven sisters and three brothers. Mr. Cluthé's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, this evening (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal service to be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
