Artist.
Born in Ukraine, he came to Canada in 1924, originally settling in Waterloo, Ontario. He arrived in Winnipeg in 1926 to work at Brigden's. From 1929 to 1934 he attended the Winnipeg School of Art, where he won scholarships and prizes. Although he exhibited often, he worked chiefly as a commercial artist, after 1956 in his own firm.
