- DAHMER-Vera Elizabeth at her home St. Luke's Place, Cambridge on Sunday morning December 21st, 1986. Vera E. (Kurtz) Dahmer in her 84th year, beloved wife of the late Wesley Dahmer and dear mother of Earl and his wife Ruby, Ken and his wife Carol, Carl and his wife Helen and Mrs. Betty Trendell all of Cambridge. Mrs. Sheldon (Mary) Ann) Martin of Stratford, Mrs. James (Margaret) Errington of Dungannon. Also survived by one brother Howard Kurtz of Kitchener, two sisters Mrs. Anna Lehman of New Hamburg and Mrs. Ila Hoffman of Kitchener, 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The late Mrs. Dahmer was predeceased by two sons John and Russell killed in action in World War II and by one brother. Mrs. Dahmer was born in Elmwood, Ontario December 28th, 1902. A daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Kurtz and was a faithful member of St. Luke's United Church. Resting at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boule- vard, Cambridge where the family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday afternoon and evening from 2- 4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in St. Luke's United Church on Wednesday morning December 24th 1986 at 10:30a.m. Interment New Hope Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Memorial Funds of S Luke's Place or St. Luke's United Church would be appreciated by the family.
