      Prominent Resident Passes.


      The funeral of Earl Mader, 48, was held on Thursday afternoon from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, Kitchener. Interment was made at the local cemetery with Rev. Oscar Burkholder, pastor of the Mennonite Church, officiating. Mr. Mader died suddenly at the home of his father, Mr. Menno Mader on Tuesday morning.

      He was born in Waterloo Township. He was the proprietor of the M. Mader & Son Coal Co., of this village.

      He is survived by one brother, Orville of Breslau, Mrs. Arthur (Pearl) Lithgow of Thedford and Mrs. Fred (Daisy) Mitchell of Stratford.
