  Herbert Muratzke passed away on Friday, August 16th, 2013 at Freeport Health Centre, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Florence Evelyn (nee: Sparks) Muratzke of 68 years. Loving father of Paul Henry Muratzke of Kitchener and the late Louise Brooks (2012). Fondly remembered by son-in-law Arthur Brooks of Napanee and a sister-in-law Dolly Sparks of Kitchener. Cherished grandfather to Richard Brooks, Christine Millar, and Miranda Muratzke. Great-grandpa to Zachary, Thomas, and Matthew. Predeceased by his parents and siblings Alvina Zinkhan, Margaret Kechnie, Percy Muratzke, Gertrude (Forler) Vogt, and brother Edward in infancy. Herbert's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Funeral services will be conducted at Henry Walser Funeral Home on August 21st, 2013, at 11 am, immediately followed by a reception. Interment Memory Gardens, Breslau.
