  KRAEMER, Rita L. Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Wednesday, April 4, 2001, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Rita L. Kraemer, of Elmira. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Gerard Kraemer (Joanne, Debra), Daniel Kraemer (Judy), all of Waterloo, Gloria Schoenhals (David), Joanne Kraemer, all of Elmira and Frank Kraemer of Vancouver B.C., sadly missed by her ten grandchildren, Geoffrey, Michael, Heather, David, Jeremy, Matthew, Krista, Jennifer, Brent and Nicholas. Predeceased, in December 2000, by her beloved husband, Thomas Kraemer; one son, Dennis; her parents, Anthony and Mary Foerster; three brothers and six sisters. Rita farmed with her husband near Dorking for 31 years before they moved to Elraira in 1974. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, Elmira and a longtime member of the Catholic Women's League. Rita was well known for her baking and cooking and was an avid quilter in her younger days. She loved hearing jokes and always en-joyed a good game of canasta, euchre or sixty-six. The family received friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and today (Friday) 12 noon - 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, Flamingo Drive, Elmira, on Friday, April 6, 2001 at 2:30 p.m., with Father George Nowak, CR and Father Fred Bechely, CR officiating, followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery.
