  REV. MR. FRESHMAN DEAD. Pastor of the West Avenue Presbytarian Church Passed Away After a Short Illness. The death of Rev. Jacob Freshman. named pastor of the West Avenue Presbyterian Church, occurred at his home, [ ] West avenue, at 12:30 A. M. yesterday. Rev. Mr. Freshman, whose age was 63 years, he had been ill three weeks. He is survived by his wife. Dr. Freshman was called to the pastorate of the West Avenue Presbyterian congregation a little more than a year ago. He was at that time engaged in mission work in New York City and in Newark, N. J. The loss of Dr. Freshman will be severe blow to the congregation, as he was one of the ablest pastors the church ever had. The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the church at West avenue and Ferry street. Burial will be at Napanee, Ont. new paper unknown
