- EDWARD ROHR 1926 - 2004 Passed away, suddenly, at the St. Thomas Elgin Hospital, in St. Thomas on Thursday, September 16, 2004, at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Grace (nee Fyfe) for the past 44 years. Loving father of Janice and Marianne Rohr, both of Waterloo. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters Elaine and her husband Roy Shantz of New Hamburg, Gloria and her husband Bill Coats of St. Jacobs, and Diane Rohr of Kitchener as well as his sister-in-law Marion Rohr of Waterloo and his step-mother Erma Rohr of Cambridge. Uncle Eddy will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and members of the Fyfe family. Predeceased by his parents Milton and Alice Rohr and by his brother Kenneth Rohr. Prior to his retirement in 1986, Ed was a dedicated employee of Uniroyal for 43 years. He was a longtime, faithful member of Stirling Ave. Mennonite Church in Kitchener. Friends are invited to share their memories of Edward with his family during memorial visiting at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo tonight (Saturday) from 7-9 pm and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate Edward's life and faith will be held at Stirling Ave. Mennonite Church in Kitchener on Monday, September 20, 2004 at 2 p.m. with Pastors David Martin and Marilyn Rudy-Froese officiating. Following the service all are welcome to join the family in the church fellowship hall for a time of fellowship and refreshments. A private family interment will take place at First Mennonite Cemetery following cremation. In Edward's memory, donations may be made to the Kitchener Public Library Foundation or to Stirling Ave. Mennonite Church Bequest Fund
