  Edmund Hansuld A former reeve of East Zorra Township, Edmund I. Hansuld of R. R. 2, Tavistock, died suddenly Thursday while driving to Kitchener. He was also a former road superintendent for the township, having retired in 1959 after serving for nine years. He was a past president of the Tavistock Agricultural Society on which he acted as a director for 50 years, and a past president of the Oxford County Crop Improvement Association. Other organizations in which he took an active part were the Oxford County Liberal Association the Oxford Hog Producers' Association, the Oxford County seed fair, the Oxford Plowman's Association, and the South Easthope Fire Insurance Co. He was one of the earliest silver fox breeders in Ontario and for a number of years worked a s a fox inspector in the southern part of the province. Later he was a judge of standing crop competitions for the Ontario department of agriculture. At the time of his death he was an elder of Knox United Church and secretary treasurer of McTav ish cemetery. South Easthope. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Laura Master, in 1961; and is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Kathryn) Lamb of Bridgeport, and two grandchildren. The funeral was held at Knox United church Saturday afternoon with Rev. James Warden officiating. Burial was in McTavish cemetery, South Easthope. New Hamburg Independent 9 Aug 1967
