  Eliza Ann Strome, "was born December 6th, 1865. She is unmarried and resides in Berlin where she is engaged in dressmaking." Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ________________________________ Mrs. Eliza A. Brubacher, 87, of 536 Frederick St., died last night at the K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Woolwich Township on Dec. 6, 1865, she was a member of Trinity United Church and a life member of the Women's Missionary Society. Her husband, Franklin A. Brubacher, predeceased her May 19, 1951. Mrs. Brubacher raised William M. Crawford of Kitchener and Mrs. Jack (Audrey) Vincent of Avonmore, Ont. She was the last surviving member of the Henry Strome family. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where funeral service will be held Monday at 3: 30 p.m. with Rev. O. P. Hossie officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. The Kitchener-Waterloo Record 10 Jan 1953
