Notes |
- Addison Kennedy
On Tuesday morning about ten o'clock, Addison Kennedy a resident of Elmira for the past fifteen years, passed away at his home on King Street after an illness of some weeks. Although ailing for some time he made no complaint, but about four weeks ago he was obliged to confine himself to the house.
Mr. Kennedy, who was aged 61 years, 3 months and 11 days, was born at Bridgeport, being the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Kennedy, who then resided there. The family moved Peel Township some 45 years ago where they were engaged in farming. About fifteen years ago he came to Elmira and has since resided here with his brother Anthony and sisters. Surviving are two brothers and four sisters, namely, John of Kitchener, Anthony of Elmira, Mrs. C. W Schneider of Kitchener and Misses Catherine, Jemina and Margaret of Elmira.
The funeral takes place this (Thursday) afternoon from his late home at 57 King Street to St. Paul's Lutheran Church for service, after which interment takes place in the Elmira Cemetery. Rev. F. Malinsky is conducting the services.
