  Hugh O. Cunningham, 40 Waler St. W., died May 1 after a lengthy illness. He was 72. Born in Hollen, Ont., he was a son, of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Cunningham. He attended the United Church, Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Mewhiney; one son, Donald, Elmira; four daugthers, Mrs. Ervin (Jean) Reidel, Mrs. Melvin (Marie) Holman, Mrs. Roy (Joyce) Lichty and Mrs; William (June) McLaughlin, all of Elmira; two brother, Milton of St. Marys and Scott of Moorefield; one sister, Mrs. John (Ethel) Hefkey, Drayton; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by one brother. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, where the service was held. Rev. E. W. Shaw of Wesley United Churchi, Elmira officiating.
