Ezra B. Eby
A widely known Twin-City resident in the person of Ezra B. Eby, 26 Francis St. north, Kitchener, passed away at his home early Friday morning, the result of a heart attack. He was in his 77th year and had been in his usual health. Born in St. Jacobs, he had lived in Kitchener for the past 40 years. Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. E. J. Capling and Mrs. Carl Zarnke of Kitchener, and Miss Laura at home. One brother, Silas, in Alberta, two sisters, Mrs. Peter Wenger, also in Alberta, and Mrs. Nathaniel Martin of St. Jacobs; also five grandchildren. A funeral service (private) was held from his late home on Sunday to Zion Church for public service. Interment took place in the Woodland Mausoleum. Rev. G. F. Barthel, assisted by Rev. E. E. Hallman officiated.
