- Miss Serena Eby
Friends will be grieved to hear of the death of Miss Serena Eby, who died last night, after a lingering illness, at her home on Edna street. Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Saruch Eby who predeceased her about 35 years ago, since which time she had made her home with her uncle D. L. Weber of Chicopee, until a few years ago, when she came to reside in the vicinity of Kitchener, where for several years she has been employed at the Chicopee Woollen store on Queen street.
She leaves to mourn her loss three brothers, Alvin of High River, Alta.. Addison of Calgary, and Milton Blackie, Alta, besides her uncle D. L Weber and family.
The funeral will be held on Monday at 2 pm. from the home of Herbert Herner, Edna street to Alma street U. B. church for short services, thence to East End Mennonite cemetery for interment.
