  WELLS George A. Of 732 Duke St., Preston, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Friday, Sept. 28, 1973, George A. Wells, beloved husband of Helen Desmond Brown; dear father of John of Agincourt, William of Preston, Marianne. (Mrs. Robert Scott) of Don Mills; also survived by one sister, Isobel (Mrs. Herbert Hodges) of Norwich and two grandchildren; he was predeceased by his first wife Eleanor Nichol in 1964 and one sister Louise (Mrs. Foster Scott) of Simcoe. Mr. Wells was born in Preston and lived in Cambridge, all his life. He owned and operated a drugstore on King St., for 36 years. He apprenticed at R. W. Meikleham of Galt. He was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, the Preston Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite. Mr. Wells will be resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, corner of Queen and Argyle Streets, Preston (Cambridge) until noon on Saturday; then to St. John's Anglican Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in Park Lawn cemetery.
