    • WELLSMAN, Robert A lifelong resident of Galt, passed away May 4, 2010 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Rollande Wellsman, dear father of Susan (Ken), Jim (Trudy), Thom (Flora), Leisa (Gary), and grandfather of Megan, Elizabeth, Jacqueline, Darrell, Thea and Aidan. Survived by brother Don, predeceased by brother Bill. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Employed as a Field Engineer with Babcock - Wilcox from 1947-1994, his work took him to the States, overseas and to Central and South America.. An avid golfer, gardener and hiker. Robert loved the forests and rivers of Galt and was passionate about his flower and vegetable gardens. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, on Friday, May 7, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Grand River Conservation Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
