Loving mother of Ron and Bonnie Roth, Joyce and Peter Erb, Keith and Carol Roth, Brenda and Paul Couturier, Cheryl and Terry Black, Barry and Sheila Roth, Mark and Annalie Roth, Wendy and Greg Voorhees. Cherished gramma of Tracy (Craig) Kroetsch, Nathan (Melissa) Roth, Tim (Kelly) Erb, Corey and Matthew Erb, Adam (Rachel) Roth, Paul Roth, Jason (Tiffany) Roth, Nicole (Jason) Camara, Michael Couturier, Melissa Millar (James), Benjamin Millar, Melissa (Andrew) Stevenson, Eric (Justyna) Black, Tiffany (Adam) Anger, Kailey (Nick) Pecarski, Kandis Roth, Shelby Roth (Chevy), Jennifer Roth (Ryan), Jacob and Madelyn Voorhees and her 24 great-grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by her sister-in laws Anne Albrecht Fowler, Pearl Roes, Lorna Roth and brother-in law Willard and Ada Roth as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Brian (1976), Father Jacob Albrecht (1957), mother Lydia (Jantzi) Albrecht (1987), grandson Christopher Erb (2018), son-in law Michael Bender (1991) sisters Edna Gerber (Steve), Erma Ropp (Nelson), Eileen Brenneman (Lloyd) her brother William Albrecht (Erma) and brothers and sisters-in law; Beulah Wagler (John), Phil Shepherd, Nelson Roth (Elmeta), Milford Roth (Merva), Catherine Roth, Hilda Burkhardt (Walter), Ray McEwin, Harold Roth and Mahlon Roes. Ruby was born on May 31, 1928, and attended school in Crosshill. In 1949 she married Elton and were together for 47 years. They farmed for many years and operated a milk transport company together. After Elton passed, she lived at Pondview for 21 years and later to Knollcrest Lodge in Milverton. Ruby will always be remembered for baking pies, donuts, coffee cakes and hosting large dinners with family and friends. She had adored her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. She enjoyed spending time at the cottage, fishing and playing board games, especially Aggravation. She was a member of Crosshill Mennonite Church and Women's Sewing Circle. She had a love for quilting and quilted one for each of her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by many. Friends may call at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Crosshill Mennonite Church, 2537 Hutchison Road, Crosshill on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 1 p.m. Pastor Julie Ellison White officiating. Interment to follow at Rush's Cemetery. Special thank you for the compassionate and loving care she received from the staff at Knollcrest Lodge. Donations can be made to Knollcrest Lodge or a charity of one's choice.
