- HEYER, Clayton B. - On Monday, Aug. 3, 1992, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener.
He resided in New Hamburg and was a son of the late John and Clara (nee Schmidt) Heyer. He was born in North Easthope township 85 years ago and was a member of the Wellesley Alliance Church. Clayton had farmed in North Easthope township prior to retirement.
Lovingly remembered by one brother, Edwin and his wife Dorothy of New Hamburg; three sisters, Pearl (Mrs. Joseph Dorner) of New Hamburg, Florence (Mrs. Eric Kuehn) of Waterloo and Mary (Mrs. Milton Neumeister) of Elmira; one sister-in- law, Mrs. Magdelene Heyer of New Hamburg and one aunt, Martha Hartung of Listowel. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Clayton was predeceased by three brothers, Henry, Roy, Arthur and his wife Ann and one nephew, Bruce.
Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. On Thursday at 9 a.m., transfer will be made to the Wellesley Alliance Church for service at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor T. Losch officiating. Interment to follow in Rush's Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
