  Rush - At New Hamburg, on May 24th, Mrs. Fannie Rush, relict of the late George M. Rush, aged 58 years, 10 months and 7 days. New Hamburg Independent, May 28, 1920 ___________________ Death of Mrs. Rush - After an illness of two weeks with pneumonia, Mrs. Fannie Rush passed away at her home here on Monday afternoon. She had been progressing favorably until Saturday when a sudden change for the worse set in and no hope was held out for her recovery. Mrs. Rush had been a highly esteemed resident of New Hamburg for over twenty years and was an active member of the Methodist Church. The news of her death was received with deep regret and much sympathy is felt for the sorrowing family. The late Mrs. Rush was a daughter of the late Isaac Eby and was in her 59th year. Her husband, the late Geo. M. Rush, predeceased her twenty-four years ago. She leaves two sons and one daughter, Eby and George, of Waterloo, and Pearl at home. One daughter Edna (Mrs. Harold Perkins) died in Toronto during the influenza epidemic of 1918. She is also survived by her aged mother and several brothers and sisters. The funeral was held privately yesterday afternoon from her late residence to Riverside cemetery and was conducted by Rev. Mr. Voaden. New Hamburg Independent, May 28, 1920
