    • Daniel Eby, "was born February 3rd, 1840. They resided on a farm near Macton, Wellesley Township, Waterloo County, Ontario. When ailing he moved on his father's place near Berlin, where he died May 17th, 1867. He was married to Frances Myers, March 18th, 1862. She died September 12th, 1869. They had a family of three children, namely: Emma Zalena is married to August Israel and had a family of one child which died in infancy. They own and occupy a farm at Strasburg, Ontario. Theophilus, died young. Effa Zilpha, married to Charles Meyer, a miller by trade, but now he is engaged in the grocery and bakery business. They have a family of several children, of whom two have died. They reside in Meaford, Ontario."
