      MARTIN, Annanias
      On Monday, February 27, 1978, at his residence, 118 Young St.; St. Jacobs, formerly of Route 3, Waterloo, aged 83 years.
      Husband of the late Susanna Steckle; dear father of Lloyd of St. Jacobs, Abner of Route 1, Atwood, Mrs. Aaron (Florence) Wideman of Route 1 Waterloo, Almeda of St. Jacobs, Mrs. George (Viola) Wallace of Ottawa, Mrs. Carson (Ella) Moyer or New Dundee, and Mrs. Milo (Laura) Shantz of St. Jacobs; brother of Mrs. Lizzie Bauman of Route 3, Wallenstein, Mrs. Urias (Hannah) Bauman of Route 4, Elmira, Tilman of Route 2, Drayton; 22 grandchildren also survive. Three brothers and four sisters predeceased him.
      Friends called at the Dreisinger Funeral Home 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, until Wednesday at noon when removal was made to St. Jacobs Mennonite Church for funeral service at 3 p.m. Rev. Richard Yordy officiated. Interment St. Jacobs Mennonite cemetery.

      Martin, Annanias, was born in Waterloo, Ont.; died at his home in St. Jacobs, Ont., Feb. 27, 1978; aged 83 y. On Feb. 26, 1920, he was married to Susanna Steckle, who died in 1966. Surviving are 2 sons (Lloyd and Abner), 5 daughters (Florence - Mrs. Aaron Wideman, Almeda Martin, Viola - Mrs. George Wallace, Ellen - Mrs. Carson Moyer, and Laura - Mrs. Milo Shantz), 22 grandchildren, 2 sisters (Mrs. Lizzie Bauman, Hannah - Mrs. Urias Bauman), and one brother (Tilman). He was preceded in death by 2 sons, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers. He was a member of St. Jacobs Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Mar. 1, in charge of Richard Yordy and Abner Good; interment in church cemetery.
